The set includes a clear water tray and 2 black lids. Fill the tray with water, sand, paint, jelly or any messy play mixture and let children explore floating, sinking, weight and displacement while developing cooperative play and early science thinking.

How children learn with a water tray
The spacious tray gives children room to splash, pour, scoop and build. Mixing materials, experimenting with colour and using small items or our range of counters for imaginative play supports fine motor skills, cognitive development and cooperative play. Fun game ideas
- Sink or Float Challenge: Gather objects of different materials, shapes and sizes. Children predict whether each will sink or float, then test their ideas in the tray.
- Sandcastle Building Contest: Fill one side with sand and use water from the other side to help mould it. Teams build the best sandcastle within a time limit.
- Fishing for Numbers or Letters: Scatter transparent numbers or transparent letters in the water and ask children to catch specific ones with cups.
- Sensory Sorting: Fill the tray with sand, rice or pasta, hide small objects such as animal counters and ask children to find and sort them.
- Mini Regatta Race: Set up a simple obstacle course and race small boats through it by making waves with hands.
