How children learn with a sand and water tray
The tray is a good height for young children to reach in and play. With ample space for several children, they can collaborate, experiment and observe how sand and water behave. The frame is stainless steel and powder coated for durability.
Fun game ideas
- Sensory Sorting Challenge: Hide animal, aquatic or fruit counters in sand and water and ask children to find and sort them by colour, shape or texture.
- Waterway Race: Use the water channel and sand to build mini waterways, then race small boats or floating objects through them.
- Sink or Float Experiment: Give children objects of different materials and sizes to predict and test whether they sink or float.
